FY2014 H-1B Quota Capped
April 9, 2013
A total of 124,000 petitions against the total quota cap of 85,000 visas (65,000 regular and 20,000 US Masters degree) have been received by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, as of April 5.  USCIS has announced that data entry for non-premium processing cases will begin after the premium processing cases are entered.  Data entry for non-premium cases will likely not be completed until sometime in May, and rejection notices for petitions not selected in the lottery will be sent out after that.
