Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill
April 30, 2013
We have been receiving telephone calls inquiring about the "new immigration law".   We would like to remind our readers that there is no "new law" yet.  What has been presented to the Senate is a proposed legislation.  A similar legislation will also be introduced in the House of Representatives.  If and when both bills are passed, they need to be reconciled, and the final bill will have to be signed by the President.  This process is going to take several months.  We will keep our readers updated on the progress.
